Consumer Finance Program Offers Homeowners Credit Options for Replacing Home Cooling, Heating Systems

Homeowners looking to install a new home heating and cooling system in time for winter now have more financial options when taking on this home investment.

Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), America's No. 1 selling brand of ductless cooling and heating systems, announced its program with Synchrony Financial to offer homeowners new financing options for upgrading their home cooling and heating systems. Synchrony Financial, formerly GE Capital Retail Finance, is the largest provider of private-label credit cards in the U.S. and has been a leader in consumer financial services for more than 80 years.

"Upgrading a home heating system can pose a financial burden for many homeowners, but at the same time, precise comfort control and energy efficiency is a worthwhile investment. Launching this program with Synchrony Financial is an important part of our commitment to provide expertise and support for dealers to deliver the best customer experience possible," says Allan Dziwoki, senior vice president, sales, marketing and operations, Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division.

"Ductless and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) zoning technology are the fastest-growing segments of the U.S. air-conditioning and heating market. Our program with Synchrony  will make it even easier for homeowners to purchase our products. We look forward to working with the Synchrony Financial team on contractor training and sponsored promotions that provide the low monthly payment options that our customers value."

The private label credit card program applies to consumer purchases of Mitsubishi Electric's offering of ductless heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) products and services. The program will allow Mitsubishi Electric's vast nationwide contractor network to offer special payment options to customers for the purchase of ductless and ducted heat pump systems as well as VRF zoning systems.
